Hello world. Today is October 1st. We are officially in what we like to call "fall" months. Normally I would be seeing the leaves change color, the weather get cooler, people bundled up in sweaters, etc. As I look outside my office window, I still see sunshine, green leaves, people at the pool, and the wether lady says its going to be 100 degrees today. Hmm. Where is fall?? Personally, I am not the biggest fan of the seasons changing. I like warmth and sunshine. Its good for my mood. So for now, I am ok with all of this. I'm also thinking I will be ok when it comes to be christmas time and there is no snow on the ground :) But there is that small part of me that wants to be walking down Grand Ave with my mom and best friend, with my mittens and furry boots on, holding a hot apple cider from Caribou, looking at all of the christmas decorations and shopping for gifts while feeling the cool breeze on my face. I will NOT miss the snow though! That is for certain. This holiday season is going to be a bit of a change for me, but I'm sure I can handle it. Being able to still wear my shorts and t-shirts while walking my dog outside on christmas eve? Yes please!
Today my lovely fiance went to his parents house to use their garage and do some work on his car. His current project is repainting it. So he is in the process of getting all of the rust off (cars don't seem to rust here in AZ!), taking of the moldings, and fixing his bumper. Then next weekend he is going to be painting. He can never seem to go without a project. I usually just smile and nod my head while he tells me of his next big plans, knowing that his ideas change weekly :) But he is very much a stickler for having something to do! And I kind of envy that. I've never been a very creative person. I did some scrap booking when I was in middle school and high school, attempted a sewing class, drew some pictures, and so on. But nothing ever really stuck. I am just not a crafty person. I can't sew, hate cooking, and my drawing skills are not impressive. I always get these great ideas of things that I would love to accomplish. I bought a scrapbook earlier this spring, and it's still in the box. I see all of these great craft or cooking ideas on websites like pinterest.com, and I want to try them all! But just don't know where to start. It's like I need inspiration or something. I just can't seem to start anything. Any suggestions blogging world?
